For all you pyro-maniacs, this tutorial shows a technique on creating a blazing inferno of burning text.
1.	Make a new document, lets say 450x250 and hit Ctrl + I to tern it black, then select the type tool and type what ever text you want in any font in white. To center the text on your image, press CTRL+A -> CTRL+X -> CTRL+V and then press CTRL+E to merge the text layer into the background layer.

2.	Next, use Filter -> Stylize -> Wind with the settings wind from right, press Ctrl -> F to apply the effect again. Then go back to Filter -> Stylize -> Wind this time from the left, hit Ctrl -> F to apply the effect again.

3.	The next step is to repeat what you just did to the sides, but this time we are going to do it to the top and the bottom. But there is not a top and bottom option in the wind dialog bax first you must go Image -> Rotate Canvas -> 90 CCW apply the wind in the same way in step 2 and then hit Canvas ->90 CW to rotate the canvas back to how it was before.

4.	Apply Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur with a value of 1, then Filter-> Distort-> Ripple with it's default values.

5.	Then go Image -> Mode -> Grayscale and then to Image -> Mode -> Indexed Color. The next step is to give our image some cool fire color, so go to Image -> Mode -> Color Table. And choose the Black Body table.

6.	This step is optional it is up to you to do it or not because the fire text looks good in both ways, all you got to do is type what you did before in black this time in the same font and size and hit CTRL+A -> CTRL+X -> CTRL+V To center the text on your image. And your done, well done you made your very own four way fire text, give yourself a pat on the back for your hard work. ^_^
