Cloud is the main character of Final Fantasy VII. He appears to be a cold, unfeeling, former mercenary, but under the mask is a man who has lost himself. Cloud was one of the Soldier trainees that couldn't handle the Mako infusion that most Soldier members go through, therefore he lost himself and let the Jenova cells roaming his body alter his memory and shroud his true self. After he leaves Soldier, he signs up for work with the renegade group Avalanche. From the first mission onwards, Cloud gets more and more involved with the mission to save the planet and emotionaly bonds with his comrades who soon become his family. Cloud realizes his true self later in the game, but that is for you to discover...
