The innocent flower girl Aeris, the last remaining survivor of the ancient Cetra race is one of the most important characters in Final Fantasy VII. She alone holds the key to defeat Sephiroth and heal the planet once again. During the game itself she has the interest of Cloud but pursues a love triangle between Cloud, herself, and Tifa, Cloud's childhood friend. A peaceful heart, she does all she can to maintain an atmosphere of kindness but is unquenchably loyal to her friends if the needs falls upon her.
