Final Fantasy V follows the story of a young traveler named Butz, who one day while taking a break with his Chocobo (Boco) saw a big meteor fall from the sky. Meanwhile, a princess said goodbye to her father while he left to investigate an abnormality in the wind. Butz and Boco left to see the meteor, and while there, they saw the princess, lying unconsious. They spoke to her, and found an old man that was just hurt by the meteor. The 3 (4, counting Boco) now leave to go find the King... when they find the king, he tells them all about the crystals: Each Crystal represents am element, and each of the warriors has one of these crystals in them. They have to restore these crystals, and restore peace to the world therin.
